SHIPPING POLICY
Processing Time
Standard Items:
- Processing time: 2–3 business days
- Orders placed after 2:00 PM will be processed the next business day
- Orders are not processed or shipped on weekends or Egyptian holidays
Personalized & Custom Items:
- Processing time: 5–7 business days
- This includes:
- Name engraving
- Custom color selections
- Custom activity configurations (Busy House, Busy Box)
- Please double-check all personalization details before submitting your order
Made-to-Order Items:
- Some items marked “Available by order” may require additional processing time
- Estimated production time will be noted on the product page
- We will contact you with an estimated shipping timeline after order placement
Shipping Methods & Delivery Times
We offer the following shipping options within Egypt:

Shipping Confirmation & Tracking
Once your order ships, you will receive:
- A shipping confirmation email
- A tracking number (where available)
- Link to track your package
Please allow 24–48 hours for tracking information to update.
Shipping Rates
Shipping rates are calculated based on:
- Order weight and dimensions
- Shipping destination
- Selected shipping method
You can view shipping costs at checkout before completing your purchase.
Shipping Address
Please ensure your shipping address is correct before submitting your order. We are not responsible for:
- Orders delivered to incorrect addresses provided by the customer
- Lost packages due to incorrect address information
- Additional shipping charges to resend items returned due to address errors
If you need to change your shipping address after placing an order, please contact us immediately. We will do our best to accommodate changes, but once an order has shipped, we cannot modify the address.
Damaged or Lost Packages
Damaged Items:
If your package arrives damaged, please:
- Take photos of the damaged box and item
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
- Email photos to [your-email@thebusybabyeg.com]
We will work with you to arrange a replacement or refund.
Lost Packages:
If your tracking shows “delivered” but you haven’t received your package:
- Check with neighbors or household members
- Contact your local post office
- Contact us within 7 days of the delivery date
We will help investigate and file claims when applicable.
Local Pickup (Cairo)
Local pickup is available by appointment in Cairo. To arrange pickup:
- Select “Local Pickup” at checkout
- Wait for confirmation that your order is ready (we’ll email you)
- Contact us to schedule a pickup time
Please bring your order confirmation and a valid ID.
RETURN & REFUND POLICY
Our Commitment
We want you to be completely happy with your purchase from The Busy Baby EG. If for any reason you’re not satisfied, we’re here to help.
Our philosophy: Real toys. Mostly Wood. Not Too Many. We believe in creating heirloom-quality toys that last, and we stand behind that quality.
30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee
You may return most items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund or exchange, subject to the conditions below.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Item must be unused and in original condition
- Item must be in original packaging
- You must provide proof of purchase (order number or receipt)
- Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility (except for defective items)
Non-returnable Items:
- Personalized items (name engraving, custom colors, custom configurations)
- Items marked “Final Sale” or “Available by order”
- Items damaged through normal wear and tear, misuse, or accidents
- Items returned without original packaging
- Items returned after 30 days
Personalized & Custom Items
Because personalized items are made especially for you, we cannot accept returns on:
- Engraved names or messages
- Custom color selections
- Custom activity configurations (Busy House, Busy Box)
Exception: If your personalized item arrives with a manufacturing error (wrong name, wrong color, wrong configuration), we will replace it at no cost to you. Please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the error.
Defective or Damaged Items
If your item arrives defective or damaged:
- Contact us within 7 days of delivery
- Provide your order number and photos of the defect/damage
- Describe the issue
We will:
- Arrange for return shipping at our expense
- Offer a full refund or replacement (your choice)
- Process your refund within 5–7 business days of receiving the returned item
How to Initiate a Return
To start a return, please:

- Your order number
- Item(s) you wish to return
- Reason for return
- Photos (if applicable)
- Wait for return authorization — we will respond within 2 business days with instructions
- Package your item securely in original packaging
- Ship to:

Refund Processing
Once we receive your returned item:

Refunds are issued to the original payment method (Kashier gateway or Cash on Delivery orders will be refunded via bank transfer).
Note: Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (defective/damaged item).
Cash on Delivery Refunds
For Cash on Delivery orders, refunds will be processed via bank transfer to the account you provide. Please include your bank details when initiating the return.
Exchanges
If you need to exchange an item for a different size, color, or product:
- Follow the return process above
- Place a new order for the desired item
- We’ll process your refund once the original item is returned
This ensures you get your new item as quickly as possible.
Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven’t received your refund:
- Check your bank account again
- Contact your credit card company or bank — there may be processing time before a refund is posted
- Contact us at [your-email@thebusybabyeg.com] if you’ve done both and still haven’t received your refund
Cancellations
Before shipping: You may cancel your order for a full refund if it hasn’t shipped yet. Contact us immediately.
After shipping: Once your order has shipped, you must follow the return process above.
Personalized items: Cannot be canceled once production has begun (typically within 24 hours of order placement).
PAYMENT METHODS
We accept the following payment methods:
- Kashier Payment Gateway — Secure online payments via credit/debit cards
- Cash on Delivery (COD) — Pay in cash when your order arrives
All online payments are processed securely through Kashier. We do not store your credit card information on our servers.
